At age six, shortly after accepting Jesus as my Savior, I knew God was calling me to one day be a missionary. After growing up reading all the exciting adventure missionary stories I could, I had the chance to experience international missions through a short-term trip to Haiti at age seventeen. I knew then that God was calling me to Haiti. God brought Clerice into my life a couple of years later and we began a long-distance relationship for five years. During this waiting season I was able to complete my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology & Christian Counseling from Liberty University. I completed my internship in Kigali, Rwanda in November 2015 and moved to Haiti only two months later. January 23, 2016 Clerice and I were married and began serving NVM together as house parents in the NVM Children’s Home. Together we have three children (Clif, Ellie, and Christian) but God keeps adding more and more children to our hearts! I am so grateful for God’s amazing grace and His gentleness in the process of sanctification. He stretches and uses us in ways we could never imagine when we walk in HIS strength!
